<p>Y1 Additional Homework 1. Find Cornwall on a map and label it. 2. Draw a picture from the Stickman story and label it with adjectives. 3. Identify 2D shapes around your house. Can you draw and label them? 4. Imagine you were visiting Stickman and his family; write a post card explaining something that you did with them whilst visiting. 5. Can you say the days of the week in order? Can you write them? 6. Can you design your own stickman? What materials would you use for his clothes?</p><p>Y2 Additional Homework</p><p>Castles</p><p> Make a model of a castle. You could make the whole thing, or a particular part, like the drawbridge or a tower.</p><p> Design your own coat of arms. It could be on a shield or a flag. You could do it on paper, card or even fabric.</p><p> Pretend to be a court jester. Write a list of jokes to perform to your friends.</p><p> Find out about somebody being knighted by The Queen. Watch a video of the event then act it out with family or friends.</p><p> Use 2D shapes to make a picture of a castle. Investigate the shapes that were used for arrow slits and flags.</p><p> Draw a plan of a castle, including important parts such as walls, towers, a drawbridge and a moat. Use a ruler to label your diagram.</p>
