<p>Dear Parents/ Guardians,</p><p>As we begin our enrollment process for the 2016-2017 Faith Formation year, we would like to welcome and thank you for letting us be a part of your child’s faith development! </p><p>Faith Formation Program Details:</p><p>Program cost is $60 for 1 child, $100 for 2, and $140 for 3 or more, plus $30 for students in sacramental preparation.</p><p>. Elementary (Preschool – 5th grade): o Classes meet Sunday mornings from 9-10:30am in the school. o God Made Everything is a series designed for our 3, 4, and 5 year olds. o Finding God is the continuation of that growth for our 1st – 5th graders.</p><p>. Middle School (6th – 8th grade): Middle School Youth Group (MSYG) o Classes meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8pm in the school. o We utilize a lectionary based program, which breaks open the upcoming Sunday mass readings. High School peer ministers help to lead the discussions and games.</p><p>. High School (9th – 12th grade): High School Youth Group (HSYG) o Classes meet Sunday evenings from 6:30-8pm in the school. o Content includes YDisciple, Dynamic Catholic, LifeTeen, the YouCat, and others. </p><p>Sacramental Preparation: If you are not enrolled in the Saint Joseph Faith Formation program you must be enrolled in Saint Joseph School or a recognized Catholic Home School Program. There is an additional fee of $30 for sacramental prep to cover materials and retreats. . Reconciliation and Eucharist o Preparation for these Sacraments normally occurs during 2nd grade, with instruction provided during regularly scheduled religion classes. o There is a parent meeting in the fall for Reconciliation and in January for Eucharist.</p><p>. Confirmation o Preparation for this Sacraments normally occurs during 6th - 8th grades. o Students are expected to regularly attend MSYG or St Joseph Catholic School. There will be one MSYG night a month that all students, including those at the Catholic school, will need to attend. They are labeled Confirmation Nights on the schedule. </p>
