Next meeting is 23 October in Sydney.</p><p>4.1.2 TF on Auditing Regulatory Compliance (Ref TC 02-2004) – Convener: David Church ([email protected]) Members: Horie, IAAC tbd (Suspended September 2005) TF still suspended. TC recommended this TF consider the new EA guidance, EA 7/04, for publication as IAF guidance. TF convener contacted on 5 June and considering the recommendation.</p><p>4.1.3 TF to maintain the log of key IAF TC decisions – Convener: N. Borsek ([email protected]) Members: Sutherland Continuous project.</p><p>4.1.4 TF to develop guidance for the consistent application of ISO 14065 –Convener: P. Shaw ([email protected]) Members: Cavalcanti, Makino, Keeling, Figueiredo, IIOC tbd, and IAAC tbd The TF met in December 2006 and February 2007 and developed an outline. TF met in San Francisco, 28-29 March. TF scheduled to meet 26-27 October in Sydney.</p><p>4.1.5. TF to improve accredited certification—Convener: Dr L Thione ([email protected]) Members: Dalrymple, Ezrakhovich, Sutherland, Brough-Kerrebyn, Shaw, Salle, Beland, Venkat, Savov, Boboige, Shah 1st meeting was in Geneva in June 2006. 2nd meeting was in Cancun in November 2006. 3rd meeting was in Geneva 24 February. 4th meeting was in San Francisco in March. Third draft developed and circulated to TF. 5th meeting scheduled for 20 October in Sydney.</p><p>4.1.6 TF to develop informative criteria on the transition to ISO/IEC 17021:2006- Convener: Roger Bennett ([email protected]) Members: Ezrakhovich, Kawaberi, Keeling, Saelze, and Sallé An informative criteria document was published on 10 May 2007. Project completed.</p><p>4.1.7 TF to consider the need for requirements regarding CBs certifying to ISO 17025—Convener: Venkataram Balakrishnan ([email protected]) Members: Cross, Hernandez, Pierre, Pina, and Thione Revised draft resolution circulated to TC members on 24 April 2007 Comment by TC members closed 29 June.</p><p>4.1.8 TF to establish guidance on competence of accreditation assessors—IAF Co- convener: Nathalie Saveant ([email protected]) and ILAC Co- convener: R. Robinson ([email protected]) (tentative) (note JWG with ILAC under the JWG on Guidance to 17011) IAF Members: Balakrishnan, Brough-Kerrebyn, Carmody, Dougherty, Pilar, Thione, and Woodley In March Nathalie agreed to chair the TF with the TC leadership (chair and vice chairs) as members to begin drafting with ILAC G11 as one input, and to keep open the offer for ILAC to participate. This will require a process for a scheme to be submitted to IAF and evaluated by an expert committee in order to become endorses. A formal recommendation was submitted to the EC for consideration by the EC at its meeting in June. Members: The first meeting of the WG was on Sunday, 25 March, in San Francisco. The itSMF will be participating in this first meeting.
