<p> Casey County, Kentucky Obituary</p><p>Source: Casey County News; Liberty, KY; Thursday issue 26 November 1981</p><p>Obituary: Emmer Edith HELM (3 Sept 1913 – 18 Nov 1981)</p><p>“Emmer Edith Helm, 68”</p><p>Emmer Edith Helm, Rt. 8, Liberty, died Nov. 18, 1981 at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville. She was 68 years old. Mrs. Helm was born on Sept. 3, 1913 to Charlie and Mary Taylor Richards, both deceased. She was married to Clyde Eugene Helm, who survives. Other survivors include: six sons, Donald Helm of Dunnville; Ronald, Verl and Rodger Helm, all of Liberty; Gerald Helm of Phoenix, Arizona; and Buel Helm of Westchester, Ohio; seven daughters, Geneva Bell, Ann Allen and Phyllis Burke, all of Liberty; Dolly Caudill of Cincinnati; Juanita Vanoy of Columbia; Margretha Jones of Independence, KY; and Trellis Carmicle of Dunnville; one brother, Otis Richards of Liberty; three sisters, Clara Lawhorn of Cincinnati, Gladys Sullivan, Russell Springs, and Elizabeth Kinslow of Indiana; 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 21, 1981 at 10 a.m. Rev. Roger Popplewell and Jr. Clements officiated.
