Abstract

Training Disguised

The typical image of training that comes to mind is that of an instructor led presentation. Relying solely on multiple slides and images may not always be enough. However by expanding beyond the typical image to include some non traditional methods we see this “disguised training” can have a positive impact.

Using Disguised Training the developer can take information, repackage it using unconventional methods, and capture the attention of the target audience. The repackaging concept allows greater flexibility and variety for the developer and a higher level of interest from the consumer. This disguised training can then enhance traditional training, or even completely replace it with more effective and captivating material. The end result is a more diverse and user friendly means of distributing information. This can create higher participation, greater dissemination and a better retention of the material.

Disguised training can give training organizations a cost effective tool to increase their productivity and provide the opportunity for more contact hours. The result is a better and more productive working group.
