Catalog Description SPAN 2, Elementary Spanish II 5 Units This second introductory course introduces students to various Spanish tenses and grammatical structures, including the perfect tenses, the conditional, and the subjunctive. It is also designed to increase the student’s vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills.</p><p>II. Expected Student Learning Outcome Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to perform the following activities with 70% accuracy.</p><p>A. Use the present, preterit, imperfect, imperative, present perfect, past perfect, future, and conditional tenses in both conversation and written exercises.</p><p>B. Use the subjunctive mood with the present, present perfect, imperfect, and past perfect tenses in both conversation and written exercises.</p><p>C. Use the subjunctive in noun clauses, adjective clauses, and adverbial clauses.</p><p>III. Course Content</p><p>A. Actions in the past and in the distant past</p><p>B.
