<p> La Service des Rendez-Vous sur Vidéo</p><p>This project is a way for you to have fun and communicate clearly in French about someone you know very well—yourself! Putting together all of the things we’ve learned so far this year in a grammatically correct way will be a challenge, but it will be worth the effort when you see how much you really know.</p><p>Task: You will prepare a short biography that will be shot as a video for a video dating service. You may use real or fictional information to create a “character.” In preparing for the video, challenge yourself. Go beyond the basic elements to expand your descriptions and use variety. Par exemple, if you say that you like music, tell about your favorite artist using adjectives. (J’adore Madonna parce qu’il est très belle!) The type of person you are should be reflected in the type of person you are looking for.</p><p>You will turn in a script that is completely written out (preferably typed), neat and grammatically correct, including accent marks. You may NOT use it when your video is shot. You may use one sheet of paper that lists key words that represent topics for conversation and to help you remember what you want to say and in what order. You should sound and appear natural and conversational to appeal to your audience. You should dress in costume to represent you or your character.</p><p>You may record your video at home and send me a link or record it during class.
