<p>Walking In God’s Love</p><p>The Bible is the manual for God's love, and when you follow the instructions that are in the Bible, you will be walking in God's love.</p><p>When you made Jesus the Lord of your life, you also received His agape love in you. Remember that God is love, so you cannot make Jesus the Lord of your life without the love included. It is the same as faith, it is in you, but it cannot manifest until you act on it. The way to act on it is by reading God's Word about His love and the ways He shows His love, meditate on it, confess it and observe to do. Let His Word come alive in you. What I mean by this is to meditate until you can picture yourself doing what you have meditated on. Remember, you do it by faith. Call those things that are not as though they were. The more you meditate and see yourself walking in the agape love, the more it is stirred up on the inside of you.</p><p>Whenever you plant corn in a garden, one of the first things you have to do is to get the soil ready before you can plant. You have to cultivate the soil to get it ready. Once you plant the seed, there are things that you have to do to get it to grow. You have to keep it watered, pull all the weeds out so it won't choke the growth. As you do these things you will start seeing the results of the nurturing that you did as the corn was growing.</p><p>The Word of God is a seed also, so the same principle that you used to get a harvest of corn would apply in the spiritual realm. You plant the seed (word) in your heart, and then you water it with the word). The next thing you do is to speak it out because when you speak it out it sets the growing process in motion, then you continue watering with the Word until you see it manifest in your life.</p><p>The love of God is released in your life by acting on the knowledge of God's Word. Without the knowledge followed by the action, the love will not develop and by continuing to act on carnal love, you will remain loving with conditions. You have to love God's way, by faith.</p><p>1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know that we are in him. 1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. KJV</p><p>1 John2: 5 But if anyone obeys his Word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him. NIV1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did.</p><p>1 The more you act on God's Word; the love of God will be perfected in you. That is when love will start to flow from you to others. </p><p>Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with thy entire mind. Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. KJV</p><p>The more God's love is perfected in you, the more the perfect will of God is accomplished and that is because every other spiritual force derives from love.</p><p>Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. KJV</p><p>Ephesians 3: 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love. NIV</p><p>1. When you walk in love you are patient, because love is patient. </p><p>2. When you walk in love you are kind, because love is kind. </p><p>3. When you walk in love you are not envious, because love does not envy.</p><p>4. When you walk in love, you do not boast, because love does not boast.</p><p>5. When you walk in love, you are not proud, because love is not proud. </p><p>6. When you walk in love, you are not rude, because love is not rude. </p><p>7. When you walk in love, you put yourself aside to help others, because love is not self seeking. </p><p>8. When you walk in love, you are not easily angered, because love keeps no records of wrong.</p><p>9. When you walk in love, you hate evil, but you rejoice in the truth.</p><p>I know this looks tough, but do not look at it through the natural eye. You must look through your spiritual eyes and see that God recreated your spirit in the image of love and the only way you can look through spiritual eyes is by being saved, making Jesus the Lord of your life and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach you. When Jesus</p><p>2 ascended to heaven He said He would leave us with the comforter, which is the Holy Spirit. </p><p>If people have hurt you in the past, you are probably thinking, I can't love someone that hurt me so bad. You have to allow the Holy Spirit to show you and guide you, because it cannot be done by the human thinking. Your mind will give you all sorts of reasons why you should not. It takes a renewing of the mind. There will be times when your flesh does not want to walk in the God kind of love. You would probably rather do anything other than let love rule and obey what the Word says about love. It would be much easier to scream, shout or anything but act upon love.</p><p>Love is opposed to the senses, because the senses have been trained to put themselves and their desires first. They have been trained to selfishly seek their own way. But love, the Word says does not seek it's own way. To walk in love you must demand your flesh to be subject to the Word.</p><p>You must make a decision as to whether you want to continue in the love of God and continually confess that you are the love of God. Meditate on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 daily and confess them.</p><p>Here is an example: Someone walks up to you and says something very unkind and you (love) will say. That is okay; I am not touchy, fretful or resentful. I take no account of that, and you go free.</p><p>Learn to believe in love. It is the most powerful force in the universe. Walk in love by faith in the Word of God. Walking in love is walking in the Spirit. It is walking the way Jesus walked. Love never fails, nothing works without it and there can be no failure in it. When you live by love, you cannot fail.</p><p>It definitely takes faith to walk in love, because the natural man and his world are ruled by selfishness. He believes that if you do not look out for number one, who will. Selfishness shuts the door to the love of God. Practicing the agape love puts the Father in action on your behalf.</p><p>Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. </p><p>Luke 6:27-28 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you</p><p>3 Luke 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.</p><p>Rom 5:5 and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is given unto us. Rom 12:9-16 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them, which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.</p><p>Eph 5: And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour. </p><p>1 John 4:16 -20 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man says, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?</p><p>If you can see everyone through Jesus' eyes you have to love.</p><p>4</p>
