<p> FILIPINO MASONS OF GREATER SEATTLE PO Box 25671, Seattle, WA 98165-1171</p><p>EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 2005-03</p><p>DATE : March 13, 2005</p><p>TO : All Members</p><p>SUBJECT : PARTICIPATION IN MEETINGS, SEMINARS, CONVENTION, CONFERENCES</p><p>------</p><p>RATIONALE: Masonic-related activities are forthcoming and members need to plan their trips (reserve billeting and plane tickets, etc). The Filipino Masons of Greater Seattle reinforces to its members the practice of fraternalism and brotherly love. Members are therefore encouraged to participate as individuals (“on their own), in functions such as in meetings, seminars, conventions or conferences that will enhance their Masonic life, Masonic education and experiences. It is however, a parallel goal of FILMAGS to be consistent with the decision of the assembly in matters pertaining to such participation.</p><p>To establish regularity and consistency, I hereby declare that:</p><p>1. No member shall misrepresent or classify himself as a “FILMAGS Representative” in any function mentioned above without the due authority of the President and concurrence of the assembly. 2. Members who attend such functions “on their own” or as a delegate of another organization shall not display the FILMAGS banner or seal. Exempt from this are personal clothing such as T-shirts and jackets that have the FILMAGS seal and name imprinted on it. 3. Any FILMAGS member who is a delegate of another organization (holds dual membership) shall not speak for and on behalf of FILMAGS and shall clarify such distinction. 4. No member, unless as a duly authorized “FILMAGS Representative” shall seat in any deliberation and be caused or forced to speak by the host organization that will create an impression or semblance that he is doing so for and on behalf of FILMAGS. 5. Members (with their spouse) participating in such functions “on their own” shall immediately correct any possible misimpression that they are “delegates” of FILMAGS. </p><p>It is further ordered that a copy of this instrument be disseminated electronically and posted in the FILMAGS website.</p><p>This order takes effect immediately unless otherwise rescinded or amended. Any violation of this order shall be a cause for disciplinary action as provided for by the Constitution and the FILMAGS CODE.</p><p>It is so ordered under my hands and seal.</p><p>G.
