Small Games Skill Development Training Camp for Girls

<p>SMALL GAMES SKILL DEVELOPMENT HOCKEY SCHOOL For Middle School, High School and College Girls Philosophy: This camp utilizes small area games to develop skills and hockey sense. Through the use of small area games, players are allowed to become better problem solvers and make good decisions on the ice. We ask our players to “read and react” to situations, but we need to provide them with regular opportunities to develop these “thinking” skills in a competitive practice environment. In order for a player to perform effectively, she must practice in conditions that mirror a game situation, where she can apply what she has learned. This hockey school is designed to let the game be the teacher. This camp is designed for College, High School, and Middle School Players. All placements will be decided on by the coaches with input from the player’s HS or Select Team Coach. Players will be grouped by age and ability to maximize development and competition.
