<p>http://chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/4089820.html</p><p>D:\Docs\2017-12-28\000b1592cb727d25897eefe92beec477.doc</p><p>Ex-Magnolia teacher accused of sex with student By ERIC HANSON</p><p>MAGNOLIA -- A former high school teacher was arrested today on charges of sexually assaulting a teen boy in an incident that happened last month, police said.</p><p>Lisa Minchew, 28, was arrested at her home in the 16300 block of Sun View in Conroe about 7:40 a.m., according to a statement released by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.</p><p>She was being held in the county jail with bail set at $75,000.</p><p>Police said the investigation began six months ago regarding allegations Minchew had sex with boys who were under the age of 16.</p><p>The arrest and charges stem from an alleged assault that occurred in July, said Det. T. Gannucci.</p><p>Gannucci said the alleged offenses did not happen at school.</p><p>Magnolia ISD superintendent Michael Holland said Minchew was employed with the district in August 2005 and her contract was terminated in March.</p><p>Holland declined to say why the contract was terminated.</p>
