<p> Dec. 23, 2009 For Immediate Release</p><p>CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY RECEIVES DONATION FROM TERRY FORCHT OWNER OF FORCHT BANKING</p><p>By Rachel Crenshaw, student news writer</p><p>CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.—Terry Forcht, owner of Forcht Banking, has donated </p><p>$10,000 to Campbellsville University for athletics and student scholarships. </p><p>The money will go to the funding for new field turf for the football field and to the CU’s scholarship fund. </p><p>Leroy Bratcher, market president at the Campbellsville Forcht bank, said, “We are glad to support our local university.”</p><p>The local Forcht bank donates $5,000 annually to Campbellsville University. </p><p>They support the scholarship fund and the bank is an athletic corporate sponsor. </p><p>Benji Kelly, vice president for development, said, “We are very appreciative of the support we receive from Forcht Banking.” </p><p>Forcht founded Forcht Group of Kentucky, an American holding company, which is compromised of 95 separate companies and over 2,100 employees. The group created the banking branch in 1985 with $1.5 million in assets. </p><p>Forcht was born and raised in Louisville, Ky., where he graduated from Shawnee </p><p>High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree and juris doctoral degree from the </p><p>University of Louisville, and he received his master of business administration degree from University of Miami. His banking career began in 1972 when he was appointed to the director of </p><p>Corbin Deposit Bank and Trust Company. </p><p>This would lead to the creation of Forcht Banking, whose assets now top $1 billion, making it one of the top 10 largest banks based in Kentucky, according to its Web site at www.forchtgroup.com.</p><p>For more information regarding the donation received from Forcht contact the </p><p>Office of Development at 270-789-5211.</p><p>Campbellsville University is a private, comprehensive institution located in South</p><p>Central Kentucky.
