<p> Clown Glyph Project</p><p>You will create a clown face using special information about yourself. Follow the directions below and make a clown unique to you.</p><p>1. Open Microsoft Word 2. Go to VIEW – TOOLBARS – DRAWING 3. Create a circle (use the oval in the drawing tool bar at the bottom of your screen.) to be the clown’s head, it should be about 1/3 the size of your page 4. Go to AutoShapes and select the triangle – make a hat for the clown 5. Click on the triangle – go to Draw – select ORDER - click on “bring to front” 6. Click on AutoShapes and select LINES- and select the first squiggly line. When you use this click your mouse once to make it curved and twice to end a line. Make hair on each side of the face. Go to Draw – select ORDER - click on “send to back” Do this for both sides. 7. Click on AutoShapes and select LINES- and select the first squiggly line again. Make the ruffle around the clown’s neck. Go to Draw – select ORDER - click on “send to back” 8. Using the directions for the glyph - select eyes, nose and mouth in AutoShapes. 9. Follow the coloring directions for the glyph. 10.Save in my documents – name it clown drawing</p><p>Open New Document in Microsoft Word</p><p>1. Title CLOWN GYLPH – Center, select font and font color, size 35 2. Change - font size to 16, font - Times New Roman, color Black and type first & last name. 3. Enter 2 times and go to align left- keep - font 16, Times New Roman, & color Black 4. Write a paragraph describing your glyph. Use descriptions such as – The clown has star blue eyes because I am a 10 year old boy. 5. Have Fun!</p>
