AP English Literature Final Project

AP English Literature – Final Research Report (Don’t panic – it’s easy!)

Your assignment is to research what students do for fun at the college you will attend. Include at least one primary source, not just previously published material. I recommend a brief phone interview with a local expert: current students, nearby clubs or restaurants, bars, tattoo parlors, bail bondsmen, whatever. Feel free to be as irreverent or as serious as fits your personality. The goal here is to gather an insider’s picture of what life outside of class might be like for you next year.

Each student will write a 1-2 page report – not longer than two pages, please. After all, you’re seniors. You will also make a brief (3-5 minute) presentation to the class (presentation can be done jointly with classmates attending the same college; essay must be individual). The presentation must be made by the end of our final exam period. SUBMIT TO TURNITIN.
