<p>FOR SALE: 1971 Dodge Charger 440 Magnum R/T - 4 BBL $28,000 Matching numbers! Straight body! Original Owner! Original Rally Wheels… Purchased from Teague Dodge in Salem October 1970; driven off showroom floor. Engine rebuilt at approximately 98,000 miles by Hatch Motors, (race engine builders in the area for years). Vehicle has been driven about 5,000 miles since the rebuild. Car has not been out in the rain in over 10 years but is taken for a ride on sunny days. Heads are shaved & cylinders were bored. It’s now approximately 446 cubic inches. Compression ratio dropped to approximately 8 to 1 allowing it to run on Premium gas. Valves & Cam were changed. Net horsepower increased from approximately 320 to 380. Automatic Transmission was rebuilt including “stage 2” shift kit. Rear gear is 323 (highway gear) & electronic ignition was installed. Carburetor replaced with an Edelbrock 750. Radiator core was replaced with a larger unit to tolerate engine heat; overflow container is gone. Car was repainted in 1980 with original color, Hemi Orange. Oregon License plate: RAD 440 … not a vanity plate; no extra cost.</p><p>503-364-1980</p>
