<p>Dear Parents,</p><p>With the unpredictable hurricane approaching, we wish to once again inform you about the process of notification we will use if school will be closed or if there is to be a delayed opening.</p><p>Decisions to keep school open, delay the opening time, or close school for the entire day will be made by 5:45 A.M. in order to make appropriate transportation arrangements and give timely notification. Thus, decisions are based on what is known and anticipated no later than 5:30 A.M.</p><p>Notifications for school cancellations or delays will be made via telephone, email and will be posted on our public and private websites. </p><p>Kol Chaverim Preschool will be following the Fair Lawn Public School closing schedule. Announcements will be made on the following stations:</p><p>Radio Stations: WOR (AM710) and WINS (AM1010) Cablevision: Channels 12 Television Channels 2, 4, 5, 7, and 11</p><p>Fair Lawn Schools Website - http://www.fairlawnschools.org</p><p>Public Kol Chaverim Website: www.kolchaverim.com</p><p>Private Kol Chaverim Website: www.kolchaverim.shutterfly.com </p><p>It will be the general practice to keep school open if at all possible and reasonable.
