The structure of the PhD thesis: Cover – Table of Contents – The list of Abbreviation- Introduction (with the background of the technical literature) – Objectives – Methods –Results – Discussion – Conclusions – Summary (in English, one page each)- Bibliography – Bibliography of the candidate’s publications (the publications related to the PhD thesis and the ones which are not should be listed separately) – acknowledgements. The appendix of the PhD thesis is the Summary in English (indicating the candidate’s three most important published articles) which is to be published on the web site of the School of PhD Studies. The Table of contents should mirror the structure described above.</p><p>2. The length of the PhD thesis is 70-150 pages. The short PhD thesis + publications form is only acceptable if it has already been endorsed either by the Doctoral Council of the University or the President of the Academic Quality Control Board.</p>
