It contains important information for all of you to review if ERHS Cheerleading Parent Information you are considering trying out for the cheerleading squad at East Ridge High School. </p><p>Important Dates: It is important for the student to be available on these dates. Permission must be obtained from the coach in advance if the student cannot fulfill this obligation.</p><p>**All persons trying out must have completed ERHS Sports Athletic Packet and have sports physical completed on packet form to tryout. Participants must also have ERHS Cheerleading Application and Teacher Recommendation Forms and Essay completed and submitted May 17 th in order to tryout. </p><p>See: ERHS Cheerleading - Facebook link for forms and video links to tryout materials</p><p>Tryout Clinic: May 16-18th, May 16- 4:30 – 5:30, May 17- 3:30 – 5:00, May 18- 3pm-</p><p>Tryouts: May 18th from 3pm- ( Students in middle school do not need to be dismissed early, they will begin at 4:30) </p><p>Uniform Sizing: Monday May 22nd, 3:00pm- Please bring apparel fees, cash only accepted at this time</p><p>Practice Sessions: TBA Varsity Summer Camp: TBA ERHS Cheerleading Summer Mini Camp Mandatory Fundraiser: June 5-7 8am- 12pm</p><p>Costs: We will be conducting fundraising events to help offset the following costs, but each cheerleader will be responsible for all costs associated with being a member of the cheerleading squad. </p><p>Uniforms: $100 due June 2nd payments made online to Varsity, Information will be given at fittings.</p><p>Camp/Practice and Spirit apparel payments due May 22 nd . (At fittings)</p><p>Payments are tiered according to Returning/New </p><p>Uniforms, Practice & Camp Gear Fees: $300 New Varsity and JV cheerleaders – ($100 of the fee, paid by credit card online to Varsity.com) Remainder of payments must be cash/ will be given receipt- school does not accept checks at this time $150-200 for Returning Cheerleaders- JV and Varsity Optional Items: If you purchased and have, from last year, you do not have to purchase the following: Nike track shorts -$25, Nike pros - $25- Varsity this will camp attire so be sure you have them!</p>
