Lesson Context Rationale (relevance of lesson to unit): Fundamental jumping skills are valuable skills to have. These skills are an integral component of many sports, including lifetime sports. Anticipated difficulties and how they will be addressed: Lack of experience in jumping skills may lead to frustration. Provide success oriented skill development.</p><p>Resources, Equipment and Materials: jump ropes, chalk, 4 colored soft balls, 4 colored cones.</p><p>B. What didn’t you like about today lesson? What was your favorite part of the lesson? In a short sentence explain 1 thing you learned in todays class.</p><p>Warm up: Students will clerical up and do a change stretching activity. One student starts a stretch and the students will follow. Once the stretch returns to the beginning the next students will change the stretch. This process will continue.</p><p>4 corner tag: 4 are assigned one color ball. The students with the balls will be the taggers. The taggers goal is to tag the non taggers. Once a students is they will go to the colored corner that matches the color of the ball they got tag by. Once the student is in the correct corner they will complete the jumping challenge 10 times then return to play.</p><p>Revised August 2012</p>
