<p> Past events</p><p>Blood Donation Camp</p><p>A Blood Donation Camp in Association with the “Thalassaemic Society of India” was held on the Campus on 28th April 2016 between 10 AM TO 5PM.This is an Annual affair organised by the Social Welfare Club of the Institute called ‘Ajantrik’.</p><p>RAMPAGE’ 2K16</p><p>RAMPAGE’2K16 , the intercollegiate sports tournament was organized at NITMAS/TNU Campus during 14th to 17th April. It was an excellent Tournament, successfully conducted and deeply appreciated by the participating teams. The Prize Winners were: Cricket: NITMAS (Champions) & Netaji Subhas Institute of Engg. (Runners-Up). Basketball: MERI, Taratola (Champions) & NITMAS (Runners-Up). Volleyball: Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology (Champions) & MERI, Taratala (Runners-Up). Football: NITMAS (Champions) AND JIS College of Engineering (Runners-Up). Tabletennis: Heritage Institute of Technology (Champions) AND NITMAS (Runners- Up).</p><p>SANKALP’ 2K16</p><p>SANKALP is the Annual Technical Fest of NITMAS, where the students get the opportunity to showcase their skills in the fields of Computer Science, Robotics, Gaming, Quiz. It was conducted on 9th and 10th APRIL 2016. The Fest deals with the practical aspects of the Core Subjects and serves as a knowledge builder and an exchange of ideas. Leading Colleges from Kolkata/ West Bengal are invited to participate in the event. This is a yearly affair. Stalls are provided for the different events and a makeshift arena is also made for Robotics and other Gaming Events. Seminars Hall is used for Quiz Events and the state-of-the-art Computer Labs are used for hard core gaming. Seminar Conducted by University of Buckingham</p><p>A seminar was conducted by University of Buckingham courtesy British Council was conducted on 19.01.2016 in seminar Hall (SB-II) at 11 AM. This seminar was attended by students where they got a chance to interact with the representative of Buckingham University who responded very well to their queries regarding higher study options in UK.</p><p>Webinar from De Montfort University A Webinar from De Montfort University (DMU)-Leicester, was organized on 10.11.2015 in seminar Hall (SB-II) at 2 PM. The webinar was attended by about 60 students, some faculty members including Head of the Departments.</p><p>One Day Seminar on Cloud Computing and Big Data</p><p>A one day seminar on Cloud Computing and Big Data was organized by CSE Dept. in collaboration with IEEE Young Professionals, Kolkata Section and Geek Monkey Studio, Microsoft Biz Spark Partner, Intel Software Partner on 24th April, 2015.
