<p>The Scientific Method</p><p>The scientific method is a way to ask and answer scientific questions by making observations and doing experiments. In Technology, we use the scientific method often.</p><p>The steps of the scientific method are to: 1. Ask a Question 2. Do Background Research 3. Construct a Hypothesis. A hypothesis is an educated guess at the answer to your question. 4. Test Your Hypothesis by Doing an Experiment 5. Analyze Your Data and Draw a Conclusion 6. Communicate Your Results </p><p>You often hear the term "Science & Technology" but often Technology is lumped under "Science." Regardless, the method of technology is the same as the method of science. You use the scientific method in originating, arriving at a working hypothesis, and finally in solving technology problems as well as when applying technology.
