<p> 13th Annual Nonprofit Day January 14, 2016</p><p>Nonprofit Resource: Writing to Your Legislators</p><p>It may feel intimidating to reach out to your elected officials, but remember: legislators want to meet and hear from their constituents, and learn about organizations that are making a difference in their legislative districts! In every county in Maine there are organizations working to protect Maine’s environment, care for our most vulnerable residents, support arts and culture and educate our children, all while investing significant financial and human resources in communities statewide. </p><p>Nonprofits are stimulating economic development, spending $10 billion dollars each year.
