<p>October 2017</p><p>Dear Cheerleading Coach:</p><p>The competition will be held on, Wednesday, January 10 and Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Westchester County Center on 198 Central Avenue, White Plains, NY.</p><p>DEADLINE The DEADLINE for both registering your squad and submitting a scholarship applicant is, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1. I will not consider your squad registered until I have received the registration form filled out completely with your Athletic Director’s signature and a check or approved copy of the purchase order. </p><p>VARSITY SQUAD DIVISIONS BEDS #s TEAM SIZE Large School 750 & up Small up to 16; Large 17 and over Small School 749 & below Small up to 16; Large 17 and over Mixed (1 or more males) If a division has less than five entries, we reserve the right to combine divisions with the appropriate BEDs #’s and squad size. </p><p>If a division has less than five entries, we reserve the right to combine divisions with the appropriate BEDs #’s and squad size.</p><p>Once registration is closed and the line-up is made the Westchester County Cheerleading Association has the right to schedule a division just for one night rather than both nights. </p><p>TICKET SALES Tickets for the competition will go on sale to the public on January 2, 2018. Tickets are $8 for adults; $5 for students who show their school ID (only one ticket per student); and $5 for children under age 12. Tickets can be purchased at the Westchester County Center’s BOX OFFICE HOURS: Tuesday – Friday- 10a -5p . Closed Sat. Alternates must also be listed on your registration form separately. If your school is only sending one squad to the competition and another squad wishes to be spectators, that squad MUST purchase tickets and sit in the spectator section. </p><p> No children or spouses/partners of coaches are allowed on the floor. </p><p> No banners are allowed to be hung from the balconies due to the installation of electronic boards.</p><p> Fan Supervisors must be an adult, they will be allowed in the back door, with access to the main floor. We ask that when the competition begins that the Fan Supervisor remains in the stands with the fans throughout the competition. </p><p> If you are bringing your mascot with you, the student’s name should be on your registration form. The student must be a current student in your school, must arrive in your school’s designated warm-up uniform. </p><p> The 1st place varsity squads from each night and each division will be invited back to compete after the varsity competition on Thursday night for the “2018 Grand Champion” trophy. </p><p> All athletes must arrive in and remain in uniform for the entire competition. This includes alternates and injured athletes. </p><p> All athletes must remain on the floor in their designated cheer area.</p><p> This year three (3) coaches will be allowed on the floor in the main auditorium. The third coach is at an additional cost of $8. Coaches not listed on the registration form will not be permitted on the floor. </p><p> No street shoes, including boots and/or heels are allowed on the mats.</p><p> Registration fee is $150. All check can be payable to: Westchester Parks Foundation. </p><p> I will use email to stay in contact with all of you, especially regarding any new information. Please note on the registration form, Coach #1 & #2 will be my primary contacts for each squad. I will also post all new information on the website. </p><p> Parking fee for spectators is $10 in the County Center parking lots</p><p> The rules for the competition will be governed by the 2017 NFHS Spirit Rules Book. </p>
