<p>Ridge Point FFA Letter Jacket Requirements</p><p>The following is a list of the criteria that you need to successfully complete in order to receive a letterman through the FFA organization.</p><p>1. The student must be a junior or senior in high school to receive their letter.</p><p>2. Students must have successfully completed at least 2 years of Agriculture Science classes and successfully completed the course with an 80 or above.</p><p>3. Paid FFA dues and has been an active member for two or more years with at least 70% participation.</p><p>4. Students must have participated in a FFA competition above the local level.</p><p>5. Students must be in good standing with the club, academically and have no severe disciplinary actions on their record (expulsion or BLC). </p><p>6. Students must have participated in our major fundraiser for at least 2 years, and sold the required amount for those years.</p><p>7. The student must participate in at least 3 of the following activities: a. Participated in the County Fair Judging Contest b. Actively participate in LDE’s c. Actively participate in CDE’s d. Run for FFA office (local or above). e. Attend State FFA Convention f. Completed an approved project/activity that will promote the FFA. g. An active member of a committee that promotes leadership in the FFA. h. Raised and showed a market animal for an approved show.</p><p>The number of students eligible for this award will vary from year to year. It is the responsibility of the student to let their AGSC advisor know of their eligibility. This eligibility letter must be submitted before the student can receive a letter and be submitted with a typed list of the above activities.
