<p>UNOFFICIAL COPY AS OF 04/25/18 13 REG. SESS. 13 RS BR 1491</p><p>A JOINT RESOLUTION designating the Pvt. Dustin Gross Memorial Highway in Montgomery County. WHEREAS, Pfc. Dustin Gross was born in September, 1992, in Montgomery County, Kentucky; and he traversed these earthly bounds on May 7, 2012; and WHEREAS, Pfc. Dustin Gross was the beloved son of Angie Brown and Stacy Gross; he was the loving brother of Christopher Wayne Gross; he was the beloved grandson of Richard "Satch" Brown, Brenda Moore, and Billy Ray Gross; the loving nephew of Jill Tipton, Toni Richardson, Jeff Brown and Steve Brown; and he leaves behind many other family members and friends who loved him dearly; and WHEREAS, Pfc. Dustin Gross graduated from Montgomery County High School in 2011; and WHEREAS, Pfc. Dustin Gross enlisted in the United States Army and was deployed on his first tour, to serve in Afghanistan; and WHEREAS, Pfc. Dustin Gross was assigned to 3rd Squadron, 73rd Calvary Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division based in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, and was a member of The Cathedral of Glory; and WHEREAS, the life of Pfc. Dustin Gross ended prematurely of injuries suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan; and</p><p>WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky has the highest respect for Pfc. Dustin Gross and is deeply grateful for the ultimate sacrifice he made for the freedom of all Americans; and WHEREAS, the passing of Pfc. Dustin Gross has left a void that cannot be filled, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the commonwealth; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:</p><p>Section 1.
