Contact Penny Brittain - 0429419888</p><p>Race Secretaries are to check Psych Sheets once nominations close and to forward any corrections within 48 hours of them being published on the Wide Bay website. </p><p>Accreditations: Anyone seeking accreditation, please nominate position with Race Secretary by Friday 31st May, 2013.</p><p>Nominations are accepted with the understanding that the nominating club ensures that all Competitors are registered with Swimming Queensland as Competitive Swimmers and that their Date of Birth is correct and the times that are entered are current.</p><p>The swim meet will be run in accordance to the QSA Rules.</p><p>Multi-disability entries should clearly state swimmer’s disability classification code. </p><p>The one-start rule will apply throughout.</p><p>Junior Rule Tolerance :- JRT will apply for swimmers 7 & under. JRT excludes swimmers 7 & under from disqualification. Place medals will not be awarded to swimmers 7 & under. Participation medals will be awarded to swimmers, 7& under who swim in 3 or more events.</p><p>Medals will be awarded for the first 3 place getters in each EVENT from 8yrs to 15yrs & over. </p><p>The Meet will be a “Heats Only” type with medals going to the swimmers that attain the top three placings on time in that event. No finals will be held, EXCEPT FOR DASH FOR CASH SKINS EVENTS.</p><p>DASH FOR CASH SKINS This year the club will be conducting the Dash for Cash as a skins event. To be eligible for the Skins swimmers MUST be nominated in 4 events. The top sixteen (8 female & 8 male) swimmers in Events 11 to 18 (inclusive) will go into the 12 & under Final and the top sixteen (8 female & 8 male) swimmers in events 19 to 24 will go into the 13 & over Final. In event of a tie for 8th place into a final, a swim off will be held. {The skins are run on a four minute (approx.) cycle:- Eight swimmers start and the clock also starts, they swim 50m and the 2 slowest drop out. When the clock times out at 4 minutes the 6 swimmers left in swim off with the slowest 2 dropping out. When the clock times out at 4 minutes the 4 swimmers left in swim off with the slowest 2 dropping out, [NB:-third place will be awarded the fasted of these two swimmers.] When the clock times out at 4 minutes the final two swimmers swim off for 1st and 2nd.} Events 53 & 54 will run together followed by Events 55 & 56.</p><p>Manual Timekeeping—3 timekeepers per lane. Timekeepers will be required from nominating clubs.</p><p>FOOD: The Nanango Swimming Club will conducting a BBQ all day including breakfast.
