<p> Delaware Emergency Management Agency Course Description</p><p>COURSE All Hazards Position Specific L-984 CODE/TITLE Strike Team/Task Force Leader Course Clayton Fire Station COURSE LOCATION 300 East St. Clayton, DE 19938 COURSE DATES Feb 3-5, 2015 COURSE TIME 0900-1630 Hours This course will prepare members of an AHIMT to lead team members at the lowest level during an incident, the field level. It will also prepare those that are not already serving on an AHIMT to join a team and perform the task of a ST/TF Leader. This course is also designed for low level supervisors who need additional training in COURSE leading team members during any type of an incident and prepares them for DESCRIPTION transition from a simple to a complex incident. ST/TF leaders will be prepared to review and assign field level assignments with team members and learn to monitor the work being performed against the incident objectives. ST/TF Leaders will learn to interact with Division/Group Supervisors to accomplish assignments.</p><p> Review Common Responsibilities Review Assignments with subordinates Assign work task COURSE OBJECTIVES Monitor work progress and make changes went needed Retain control of assigned resources while in available or OOS Status Maintain the unit log</p><p>PREREQUISITES NIMS 700, IS 800, ICS 100, 200, and 300. ICS 400 is a Recommended Course Police Fire TARGET EMS AUDIENCE AHIMT Members Others as Interested in Learning the Job Task of the ST/TF Leader</p><p>OPEN TO THE This course is not open to the public PUBLIC</p><p>The training and course materials are provided at no cost to the state, local COST/MEALS organization or responder.
