A perfect time for fellowship with your Montini Family.</p><p>4/28 – Half day of school 11:30 am dismissal Mid Quarter ImaBridge Non-Uniform Day</p><p>5/2 – May Crowing at Middle School/St Mary</p><p>5/6 – 7th & 8th Grade Last Dance 6:30-8:30pm</p><p>Congrats to the Masonburg Family for winning the FREE book fess for the 2017-2018 school year! Their family sold more than the required 8 Grand Prize Drawing tickets! NOTE: Montini will NOT be participating in the SchoolKids school kit program this year. There were only a few orders last year. We wanted to give plenty of notice that this will not be an option this coming school year. </p><p>The 2017-2018 Tuition Contracts went home with your child on Wednesday, March 22nd. If you did not receive one, please contact the Middle School at 815-385-1022. If you have a child in grades K-8, you will need to submit the Participating Parish Form to your Parish for approval to receive the in parish tuition rate.</p><p>TUITION ASSISTANCE</p><p>With registration approaching for the 2017-2018 school year, I have the information for you to apply for tuition assistance. In the past, we have used PSAS. PSAS has been bought out by FACTS. The FACTS application which you will complete is similar to the PSAS application. Tuition will be going up 4.0% for the 2017-2018 school year. Please remember that the money for tuition assistance comes from the Montini coffers. FACTS does not award any funds; they merely evaluate for need and give us their recommendations. Also, if a family receives the maximum award using the FACTS recommendation, the highest amount given is at 50% tuition. The other 50% will remain your responsibility.</p><p>The last date to file is Friday, April 28, 2017. You must be certified by your pastor as eligible for the Participating Parish Rate to receive any tuition assistance. There are about six weeks in which to file for tuition assistance. I will send out weekly reminders until that time. However, it is the obligation of the parents to file before the deadline. No tuition assistance will be given to anyone who does not file this form. Filing by the April 28th date will enable us to determine if your family has received any tuition assistance before the end of the current school year. The procedure to apply is as follows:</p><p>1. Go to www.montini.k12.il.us 2. Go to the Admissions and Academics section 3. Click on Tuition and Tuition Assistance 4. Scroll down to Tuition Assistance 5. Click on the link http://www.online.factsmgt.com/signin/41CKB 6. This will take you to the FACTS application</p><p>Please call me at 815-385-1022 if you have any questions about this process.
