Peter at his worst: John 13</p><p>Vintage Peter – filled with confidence & pride “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”</p><p> Jesus, I’ll follow, I’m your guy!</p><p>B. Peter at his best: Luke 5:1-9</p><p>Problem!  When Peter knew the most about Jesus, he is the least humble! </p><p>IV. Church involvement can keep you from cultivating Jesus-like humility. Philippians 2:5-8</p><p>Who can win the: 1. Best servant award 2. Most committed award 3. Quickest to the Bible verse award 4. Sacrificial giving award 5. Regular in worship award</p><p> How has life gone in your little kingdom this week? </p><p>V. Baby steps for the humility challenged</p><p>1. Practice giving preference to others 2.
