<p> RAPSS (Research Administration Proposal Submission System) Approval List Instructions: As we begin the transition to an electronic approval process for proposal submission, we are asking that you identify the individuals for your unit (School / Center / Institute / Department) who will be responsible for approving a proposal prior to it being submitted to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. Typically these individuals are the same ones that sign off on the Endorsement Form. 1. We strongly suggest that, in addition to providing the name of the primary person responsible for approving a submission, additional designees be listed as well. In the event the primary approver is unavailable, one of the designees will be able to take action so as not to delay the approval process. 2. Also, please list those individuals that are the pre-award and post-award administrators (contacts) for your unit. These individuals are typically those whose names appear on the endorsement form as the pre-award and post-award contacts. If there are multiple individuals acting in this capacity, please list them as well. 3.
