<p> Exporting data from iCue 1-Click or Custom reports and uploading into Excel</p><p>2003 Version</p><p>1. Scroll down to the bottom of the results table in the iCue 1-Click or Custom Report and click on either the “Save Results as a Tab-delimited file” or “Save Summary as a Tab- delimited file” link depending on which table you would like to export. 2. When the “File Download” dialog box appears, click on “Save.” 3. When the “Save As” dialog box appears, you will see that iCue assigns a default file name of “results_”, the date you export the data, “@”, the time you export the data. You can, of course, change the name of the file if you would like. Be sure to keep the “.tsv” file type at the end, however. 4. Once you have the file name assigned, choose the location to save your file to. I would suggest the Desktop for now for ease of access as you upload the file into Excel. 5. Minimize each of the Internet windows you have open by clicking on the “-“ sign in the upper righthand corner of the window. 6. Open Microsoft Excel. 7. If a blank workbook isn’t already open, open one. 8. Click in the upper lefthand (A1) cell. 9. Click on the “Data” menu in the upper lefthand portion of the page. 10. Hover the cursor over “Import External Data.” 11. Choose “Import Data.” 12. When the “Select Data Source” dialog box appears, click on the “Files of type” drop down menu at the bottom of the box and change it to “All Files.” 13. Navigate within the dialog box to find the tab-delimited file you exported from iCue. 14. Double-click on the file. 15. When the “Text Import Wizard – Step 1 of 3” dialog box appears, click “Next.” 16. When the “Text Import Wizard – Step 2 of 3” dialog box appears, click “Next.” 17. When the “Text Import Wizard – Step 3 of 3” dialog box appears, click “Finish.” 18. When the “Import Data” dialog box appears, click “OK.” 19. Your data should now be imported.</p>
