<p> Search the Downingtown High School West Library Catalog!</p><p>1. Go to http://destiny.dasd.org</p><p>2. Choose South Hanover Elementary School</p><p>3. The Downingtown West Destiny homepage has links and shortcuts to different resources. Click the green Catalog tab to search the catalog.</p><p>4. Four types of searches to choose from: a. Basic – search terms by keyword, title, author, subject, or series. b. Power – select limiters and use Boolean connectors to search. c. Visual – grouped by subjects and also includes related websites. d. Destiny Quest – a visual basic search. (Choose link on left sidebar.)</p><p>If you don’t see the book you are looking for:</p><p>Search other libraries in the district by using the drop down menu and selecting: All Elementary Schools or Lower Dauphin School District Libraries.</p><p>Log-in by clicking on the Log-In button at the top right. You will then be able to click on the “My Info” tab to see what materials you currently have checked out, their due dates, and any books you may have requested. You may also search the catalog and select a book and click on the “hold it” button to have us pull it aside or to instantly request from another Lower Dauphin Library. Creating a Book List</p><p>To create a book list to print: 1. Click on the log-in button on the top right of the page. 2. Login using the log-in and password I gave you. 3. Search the catalog using the steps above. 4. Once you see books you would like click on the link next to them that says: “ADD TO THIS LIST”</p><p>5. Once you have added all your books click on the “Resource List” tab on the left hand side of the page.</p><p>6. View your list by clicking on the “view” button. 7. From that page you can print your list or you can notify me you have created a list and I can retrieve it and pull the books for you. 8. If you have created lists in the past, you must go in and delete the list by clicking on the “Remove All” button or you must create a new list and add new books to that list. 9.
