Kelsey, Jr. was a mining engineer who came to Juneau and Treadwell in 1912. In his letters to relatives in California, he tells about his work as a government surveyor, including a trip to Akutan, and later with the Kensington Mining Company and others in the Juneau area. His letters mention Juneau events such as the Treadwell Club Ball and the First Legislature.</p><p>Inventory</p><p>I . Juneau [Comet].
