MAKE SURE FRONT WHEELS ARE STATICALLY AND DYNAMICALLY BALANCED</p><p>1) Raise vehicle using hoist or jack, place jack stands under the axle and block rear wheels.</p><p>2) Remove front shocks and install the 005 shocks. Torque top and bottom mounting nuts to 50 FT. POUNDS.</p><p>3) On the drivers side frame rail just behind the mounting bracket for the spring down stop there is a 3/4" hole half way up. Using the 5/8" X 1-3/4" bolt, mount the Steering Stabilizer Bracket using the inner plate on the inside of the frame then install the 1/2" X 2" bolt and washers into the inner plate and bracket. See Figure 1. Torque the 5/8" bolt to 240 FT. POUNDS and the 1/2" bolt to 85 FT. Pull the rod out of the stabilizer 6 inches as a starting point. Using the bolts and nuts on the stabilizer install the stabilizer to the frame bracket with the stabilizer on the rear of the bracket. See Figure 1. Install the tie rod mounting bracket on the bottom of the tie rod and mounting hole for the stabilizer to the rear of the tie rod and horizontally. See Figure 1. Torque U-bolt nuts to 20 FT. POUNDS. Mount stabilizer to the tie rod bracket with the provided hardware. Torque bolts to 60 FT. POUNDS.</p><p>5) Turn the wheels all the way to the left and right to make sure the steering stabilizer is centered. To make sure you are centered on the steering stabilizer, start engine and turn steering wheel from 10 to 2 o'clock as fast as possible.
