Screaming

Integration Specialist – Tania Kraus I want to eat something. I don’t know the word to say to get what I want. I want to do something. I don’t know the word to say to get what I want. When I don’t know the word to get what I want, I can show an adult a picture of what I want. When I don’t know the word to get what I want, I can show an adult what I want. Sometimes the adult knows what I want but tells me, “No.” That is okay. I may get what I want later, when it is the right time. Sometimes I scream when I don’t get what I want. Adults don’t know why I scream. I don’t get what I want by screaming. It hurts everyone’s ears when I scream. I don’t get what I want by screaming. I will try and point to pictures of what I want. I will try and show adults what I want. I will try and wait until later to get what I want. Adults will be happy when I don’t scream.

I will be happy too.
