PRS Guitars Debuts Two New Metallic Finishes

-- For Immediate Release --

PRS Guitars Debuts Two New Metallic Finishes

(Stevensville, MD) April 1, 2016 – Paul Reed Smith Guitars is adding two new metallic colors to its US-made guitar lineup: Champagne Gold Metallic and Frost Green Metallic. The new metallic finishes utilize various sizes of metallic flake resulting in a shimmering opaque finish that shows off the contours of the guitar while reflecting light in a show-stopping fashion. These two new vibrant finishes will be available on PRS Guitars’ Core, Bolt-on, and S2 model lineups through PRS Authorized Dealers and Distributors.

With these additions to the line, PRS will stop manufacturing guitars with their current metallic finishes – Egyptian Gold Metallic and Ice Blue Firemist Metallic – so fans should be sure to grab those up quickly. Refreshing metallic finish colors in this manner is planned to happen every six months to keep the product offering fresh.

“We are excited to offer these new colors across the PRS brand. Metallic finishes offer a sleek hotrod vibe that certain players really gravitate toward,” said Jim Cullen, National Sales Manager. “And there are so many swanky colors available, we couldn’t just choose two and leave the rest out. By refreshing the line every six months in this way, we get to offer more colors and keep things poppin’ fresh.”

These colors will premiere live at PRS Guitars upcoming Experience PRS 2016 event on June 3 & 4th, and can be viewed on the company’s website at www.prsguitars.com.

About PRS Guitars: Paul Reed Smith Guitars is a leading manufacturer of high quality instruments in Stevensville, Maryland and has provided some of the world’s most renowned musicians with instruments since 1985.
