<p> Auto-Packager Procedures</p><p>April 2011</p><p>1 Intro: Auto packager will ‘package’ the awards you have set up in a batch, eliminating the need to manually enter each award onto the AIDE screen. RVC has set up Pell and SEOG to auto package beginning with the 2011-12 academic year.</p><p>Step 1) Check ImageNow ‘Load Aid’ Q to see how many and who is ready to load. Troubleshoot as necessary if ID’s don’t match on the Auto Packager reports. Step 2) Run the processes below Step 3) Return to ImageNow and load any MAP grants onto AID that students are eligible to receive. Step 4) After all aid is loaded for the records in ImageNow, either by Auto Packager or manually, forward records to the Award Letter Q.</p><p>RLDE</p><p>Update date criteria in the rule FAPKGDEF</p><p>2 RLPC</p><p>Run RLPC to create the saved list for PKCR</p><p> All red fields must be populated</p><p> Enter “Selected File Name” – CS.ACYR.</p><p> Enter “Savedlist Name for Results” is the savelist to be created for students who did not package. Naming convention for Savedlist Result is RLPC_start date_enddate. </p><p> Enter File Suite Year – Year for which you are processing</p><p> Enter Rule Operator – “AND”</p><p> Enter Rule – FAPKGDEF</p><p>3 SLED</p><p> Enter the savedlist created on RLPC in capitols.</p><p> Check for the number of students who are to be packaged.</p><p> Review the students and compare list to those in the Load Aid Q in ImageNow, if correction are made you can manually auto-package them from AIDE if necessary. </p><p> If no savedlist found no students ready to be packaged.</p><p>Notice the Record Count</p><p>4 PKCR</p><p>Run PKCR to auto-package the students.</p><p> Enter “Academic Year” for which you are processing. </p><p> Enter Update Package - “Y” if you are going to update the student’s record.</p><p> Enter Update Package –“ N” if you are running a simulation.</p><p> Enter Student Package report selection – SP for normal report and ERV to expand the rules when debugging.</p><p> Enter Fund Report in Priority – “Y” or “N” to create the report.</p><p> Enter Fund Report in Award Order – “Y” or “N” to create the report.</p><p> Enter Saved List Name – Savedlist created from RLPC. </p><p> Save and Update and run the process.</p><p> A packager report will be generated. Report can be used in conjunction with report of non- packaged to trouble shoot. </p><p> Save report in auto-packager file on the common drive.</p><p>5 RLPC</p><p>Determine students who were not packaged.</p><p> Enter “Savedlist Name for Selection” will be the Savedlist created from the first RLPC.</p><p> Enter “Selected File Name – CS.ACYR.</p><p> Enter “Savedlist Name for Results” is the savelist to be created for students who did not package.</p><p> Enter File Suite Year – Year for which you are processing</p><p> Enter Rule Operator – “AND”</p><p> Enter Rule - FANOPKG </p><p> Save, update and run process</p><p>6 7 SLED</p><p> Enter the savedlist created on RLPC in capitols.</p><p> Check for the number of students who are to be packaged.</p><p> Review the students and if correction are made you can manually auto-package them from AIDE. </p><p> If no savedlist found no students ready to be packaged.</p><p>8</p>
