<p> FUNCTION KEYS IPS DIGITAL HANDSET REFERENCE CARD RECALL Recalls dial tone MAKE AN INTERNAL CALL FNC + 1 – Turns MIC on/off  Lift Handset or Press Speaker FNC + 2 – Adjust handset receiver volume  Dial the required Extension Number FNC + 3 – Select ring tone (Repeat “3” to select tone) MAKE AN EXTERNAL CALL</p><p> Lift Handset or Press Speaker  Dial “0”  Dial the required External Number</p><p>CALL THE OPERATOR CONTROL ARROWS NEC 65 Series Digital  Lift Handset or Press Speaker DISPLAY  Dial 99 Adjusts the LCD display whilst handset is idle LAST NUMBER REDAIL/STACK DIAL VOLUME Adjusts the Call Volume whilst on a call Allows User to redial any of the last 5 numbers dialled internally or externally  Lift Handset RINGER VOLUME  Press LNR/SPD repeatedly until the desired number Adjusts the Ringer Volume whilst handset is ringing is displayed on the LCD.  Press the # Key to Dial Selected Number ONE TOUCH KEYS HOLD A CALL</p><p>To Set: Allows User To Place a Call on Hold on their Extension  Do not lift handset  Press FNC button To Hold:  Press the desired “One Touch” Key  Advise Caller they will be placed on Hold  Enter number to be stored (remember ”0” for external numbers)  Press HOLD button (Held Line Flashes)  Press FNC button to save To Retrieve Held Call: To Dial  Lift Handset  Lift Handset  Press Flashing Line & speak to caller  Press desired One Touch key to dial NOTE: For Exclusive Hold – Press HOLD twice TRANSFER A CALL 1</p><p> Advise Caller of your Intention to Transfer them  Press TRF Button 8  Dial the Extension Number the call is to be transferred to.  Introduce the Call, If the call is accepted Hang Up.  If the Extension is Busy, Unanswered or the call is not accepted Press TRF to return to the caller again. NOTES:------CONFERENCE CALL ------Establishes a------3 Way Conference between your extension and 2 Other Parties  Whilst on------a call, press TRF  Dial the ------extension or external number you require  When the------called party answers press the CONF key  A 3 way------conversation is now established.  Any party may------exit the Conference by hanging up, the other 2 parties will remain connected, as long as 1 of the remaining parties is an Internal extension number.------CALL BACK</p><p>Allows the user------to receive a callback from a busy extension ------ On receipt of Busy Tone when dialing an internal extension  Press CALL------BACK or Dial * 0  Hang Up------You may make------or receive calls during this waiting period  When both------extensions are free your handset will ring. The LCD of you handset will indicate it is a Callback  Lift handset------and the other extension will ring. ------To Cancel a Callback  Lift Handset------ Press CALL------BACK or Dial # 0 ------SYSYEM SPEED DIAL ------ Lift Handset------ Dial # 5------ Dial 3 digit------abbreviated code (000 - 999)  Eg. # 5000------# 5999 ------2 ------PABX FEATURE 7 ------KEYS ------Forwarding Keys, Pick Up etc. TO SET  Lift Handset  Press FWD ALL or Dial * 1  Enter destination calls are to be forwarded to.  Replace Handset (All calls will now be diverted) TO CANCEL  Lift Handset  Press FWD ALL or Dial # 1  Replace Handset</p><p>FORWARD CALLS ON NO ANSWER</p><p>Forwards all calls if handset is not answered</p><p>TO SET  Lift Handset RECALL  Press FWD NANS or Dial * 2  Enter destination calls are to be forwarded to.  Replace Handset (All calls will now be diverted) TO CANCEL FNC  Lift Handset  Press FWD NANS or Dial # 2  Replace Handset CONF FORWARD CALLS WHEN BUSY</p><p>HOLD TRF ANS SPEAKER LNR/SPD Forwards calls when extension is busy</p><p>TO SET  Lift Handset  Press FWD BUSY or Dial * 3  Enter destination calls are to be forwarded to.  Replace Handset (All calls will now be diverted) TO CANCEL  Lift Handset  Press FWD BUSY or Dial # 3  Replace Handset</p><p>6 FORWARD ALL CALLS NOTE:  Remember to add a leading ‘O’ when diverting to an external number Forwards all calls immediately GROUP CALL PICK UP 3 MANAGER SECRETARY TRANSFER 4 To answer another extension ringing in your group Allows user to answer another extension in their office using ‘Line Appearance’ keys on their handset (if programmed)  Lift Handset  Press Pick Up or Dial ** To Answer a line appearance  Ringing call is picked up  Press flashing ‘line appearance’ key on your handset  Speak to caller  Speak to caller</p><p>To announce and transfer a line appearance DIRECT CALL PICK UP  Press flashing ‘line appearance’ key on your handset  Speak to caller To answer another extension ringing outside of your group  Press ‘line appearance’ key again (Caller is now on hold)  Intercom to line appearance extension is activated  Lift Handset  Introduce the call  Dial # #  If call is accepted – Hang Up  Dial the ringing extension you wish to pick up  If call is refused – Press line appearance again to return to caller  Speak to caller  Speak to caller</p><p>CALL HOLD VOICE CALL Allows user to place an existing call on Hold and dial another number Allows a user to intercom to other Digital handsets only  Advise 1st Caller they will be placed on Hold  Press CALL HOLD  Lift handset nd  Receive 2 dial tone  Dial required Digital extension number nd  Dial required 2 number  As soon as “ring” tone is heard press VOICE key Toggle between both calls by pressing CALL HOLD  Intercom to line extension is activated When ending a call – Hang up, call left on hold will ring back  Speak over Intercom to your extension.  Replace handset to disconnect</p><p>CALL PARK SAVE AND REPEAT Allows user to place a call on Hold and retrieve from another handset To save a dialed number and access later  Advise caller they will be placed on Hold  Dial CALL PARK set code * 88 To Store  Lift handset  Note the Park Number displayed on the LCD (00 – 19)  Dial required number  Replace handset (Call is now ‘parked’ in the system)  If number is unavailable press S&R key  Number is stored under S&R key To retrieve from your handset  Replace handset  Lift handset  Dial local retrieve code # 88 To Retrieve  Enter the Park Number that was displayed on the LCD (00 – 19)  Lift handset  Speak to caller  Press S&R Key  Number is redialed Number will remain under S&R key until replaced with a new number.</p><p>5</p>
