<p> Soybean Festival Talent Contest September 5, 2016 6PM Mid-South Fair Preliminary Contest (13-21 years of age)</p><p>Contestants for the 13-21 year old contest must be checked in by 5PM to insure a spot in the show. The event will take place in Virginia Weldon Park south of the big stage downtown just behind the post office in Martin, TN, and the entry fee is $25 per act. The categories in which a person can enter are as follows: Vocal Solo, Dance Solo, Vocal Group, Dance Group, Instrumental Solo, Variety Act, and Band. You can enter the show more than one time, but each act must be in a different category. Proceeds will benefit service projects of the Westview High School Key Club and the Martin Kiwanis Club. Accompaniment CDs should be provided by the contestants. Your act should be a minimum of 3 minutes but no longer than 4 minutes. You should avoid back ground vocals for they will not be allowed in the Mid-South Fair Competition. Pre-registration should be submitted by September 2, 2016. You must pre-register for this event, and you must arrive one hour before show time.</p><p>Age Divisions: 8 years and under, 9-12, 13-21, and 22 and older.
