<p> BRANT LAKE SANITARY DISTRICT</p><p>Monthly Meeting Minutes May 3, 2017</p><p>The May 3, 2017 monthly meeting of BLSD was called to order by Pres. Neish at 7:00 pm at the Chester Community Center. Present were, President Dick Neish, Treasurer Tim Basler and Superintendent Dave Brown, and Clerk Lori Basler and 2 guests.</p><p>Declaration of Conflict: None</p><p>1. Approval of Agenda: Motion to approve made by Basler, second by Neish, motion approved</p><p>2. Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve the minutes of April 5, 2017 was made by Neish, second by Basler, motion approved.</p><p>3. Approval of the Treasurer report: Regular checking: 1672-$68.00 US Post Office, 1673-$89.90 Lori Basler, 1674-$4875.00 Brown Excavating, 1675-$750.00 Lori Basler, 1676-$56.00 US Post Office, 1677-$22,285.93 US Bank Trust (Loan), 1678-$46.48 Madison Daily Leader, 1679-$150.00 Lammers. Construction Account: No checks written. Motion to approve the Treasurers report was made by Neish and second by Basler, motion approved.</p><p>4. Superintendent’s Report: 4341 Horizon Heights had a problem with water coming to the surface of the ground. Dave called in an emergency locate, he had to tear out a tree, repaired the irrigation lines and replaced what was damaged. This action, resulted in a few invoices. One for $850.00 to Bill’s Back Hoe, Slayton, MN, another for $300.00 for seed and dirt work, to Brown Excavation and last of all $443.98 Slayton Plumbing and Heating. Motion to approve was made by Neish and second by Basler, motion approved. Building permit for 5381 S Shore Drive was reviewed Motion to approve was made by Basler and second by Neish, motion approved. The project is complete.</p><p>5. John Peterson letter was reviewed and the lot is in the SW corner. 3661 Coves North is hooked up. Dick will reply with a letter this month. </p><p>6. Motion was made by Basler with Neish Second to go into Executive Session for legal and purpose of pending litigation. Motion approved at 8:37pm. Motion to exit Executive Session at 8:43 pm by Neish with second by Basler.</p><p>7. Next Meeting will be June 7, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Community Center in Chester</p><p>8.
