<p>ITINERARY: August 8, 9 & 10 at the NY Power Authority</p><p>SCIENCE * TECHNOLOGY * ENGINEERING * ART * MATH</p><p>This is a day camp taking place at the New York Power Authority Visitor’s Center and Minekill State Park (Thursday only) from 9 to 4 each day. The pick up and drop off points and the times for them will be the same each day. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the pick up time. Look for a SUNY Cobleskill van, which will be transporting the students.</p><p>August 8, 9 & 10</p><p>8:10 AM PICK UP at the SUNY Cobleskill commuter parking lot NEXT TO AGWAY. 8:35 AM PICK UP at the Jefferson Central School </p><p>9:00 AM ARRIVE at the NY Power Authority Visitor’s Center</p><p>9:00 – 4:00 PM Activities at the Power Authority, including breakfast and lunch</p><p>Some of the activities awaiting you: </p><p> Intro to Energy: experiments to investigate basic energy transformation  Electricity Production and Climate Change  Power Plant Hookup Game  Investigate Solar Circuits  Build and Race a Solar Car  Interview NYPA Staff and make a DVD of it</p><p>****On Thursday, August 10, we will spend the afternoon picnicking, hiking, and swimming at the Minekill State Park. Please bring a swim suit, towel, flip flops for the pool area, and dry clothes to change into – as well as shoes to hike in. Every other day of camp should be normal summer camp type clothes, but NO flip flops or sandals during camp when we will be conducting various experiments.
