In the manuscript authors have taken a few optical intra-day variability light curves data from the published literature and tried to show if the magnitude is log-normally distributed. They also claim to calculate spectral slope of the light curves. The paper is poorly written with few basic mistakes, so, it needs to be revised properly before we consider it for publication.

Major Comments:

1. Authors should understand this source is a strong BL Lac candidate with featureless optical continuum in its optical spectra and any emission in any EM band is the jet emission. Authors have discussed in section 1.1 about reprocessing of disc which should be removed. 2. Location of emission which will be the size of emitting region = c * \delta t and redshift factor should be also included.

3. Authors should understand blazar variability is very irregular and selecting a few light curves from published about 1000 light curves will be a biased result.

4. I could not understand how authors have calculated spectral slope with single optical band light curve? Please explain it clearly. 5. Appendix 1 is very basic and everyone doing astrophysics knows it. So, there is no need to write it in the manuscript.
