Sometimes she walked with Papa. 5.______</p><p>6. But Hetty had never, ever been allowed down the dusty road all by 6.______herself. ______7. One afternoon Mama said, “Mr. Birdie’s speckled hens are laying. 7.______</p><p>8. Wouldn’t fresh eggs be nice for tomorrow’s breakfast?” 8.______</p><p>9.
