<p>JUNIOR SHOW AMBASSADOR </p><p>AIMS OF THE COMPETITION</p><p>To support young people engage with and participate in their local agricultural society or field day </p><p>AGE </p><p>Open to people aged between 16-19 years at the time of local show. </p><p>HOW TO ENTER </p><p>Complete the attached entry form, prepare a resume and submit to Kaniva A & P Society Secretary, Angela Veitch, via [email protected] or PO Box 146, Kaniva Victoria 3419. Entry must be received by 5pm Thursday 5 October 2017.</p><p>**NOTE – CHANGE OF FORMAT FOR 2017** Entrants will be required to assemble at the Kaniva Community Hub on Monday 9 October 2017 at 6.00pm where you will enjoy an evening meal with the judges of the Junior Show Ambassador and attend an interview. On 14 October 2017, Kaniva Show Day, all Junior Show Ambassadors will meet at 5.30pm in the Community Hub. The Winner and Runner Up will be announced prior to the Official Opening of the Kaniva Community Hub at 6.00pm </p><p>Winner at local Show will go on to represent the Kaniva A & P Society at the Regional Final.</p><p>PRIZE </p><p>Lapel Badge and Certificate (supplied by VAS Ltd), gift pack from The Mop Shop</p><p>JUDGING CRITERIA </p><p>Entrants must wear smart clothing and will be judged in accordance with the following guidelines: </p><p>Community and/or Show Involvement & Rural and General Knowledge 40 points </p><p>Ambitions/Goals 20 points </p><p>Communication Skills 20 points </p><p>Personality and Confidence 10 points </p><p>Overall Presentation 10 points </p><p>TOTAL 100 points JUNIOR SHOW AMBASSADOR</p><p>KANIVA A & P SOCIETY Inc.
