<p>Participant´s protocol on a PT 25/8 Proficiency Test</p><p>Object of PT 25/8 Determination of Si, Fe, Cu, Mn, Mg, Zn, Ni, Cr, Pb, Sn, Ti in aluminium alloy (Si < 13%, Fe <%, Cu <%, Mn <0.6%, Mg < 0.5%, Zn <%, Ni < 0.05%, Cr < 0.06%, Pb < 0.1%, Sn < 0.05%, Ti < 0.06%) by Atomic Emission and X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometries on a plane of solid sample. We also hope to save you effort and expanses in this way. </p><p>Methodical instructions for PT 25/8 participants Prior to analysis of a PT 25/8 sample please the calibration should be validated by the regular procedure as per the laboratory Q. The number of digits should agree with that given in the approximate values below. The determinations should be done by one operator in the consecution. *If more than one technique is applied (AES and RFS, AES and wet-way analysis), please give the particular sets of results in separe copies of the protocol. Each participant will be assigned his code number for each method applied.
