Physics of Sport Using any sport with which you are familiar, find images or video clips of five different action scenes in that sport. Analyze the forces and motion taking place in those images with labeled free body diagrams and a description of how they interact with each other. (Example: Lacrosse – The lacrosse stick is a third class lever with a fulcrum, effort force and resistance load. It is also a rotating basket with torque and rotational inertia.)</p><p>D. The Hadron Supercollider Using the CERN web site, choose any five projects that are currently being studied by engineers. Write a brief summary of the procedure that is being used, and highlight the physics applications in their research. (Example: July 2012 a particle suspected of being the Higgs Boson left a vapor trail that is giving engineers evidence of the Higgs field that causes particles to have mass.)</p><p>Your report is to be 5 paragraphs, and may include appropriate images where they apply to your discussion.
