<p> Why Gorillas Hit Their Chest</p><p>Long, long ago, deep in a jungle there lived a gorilla, Bob, and a snake, Audrey. All the animals in the jungle including Bob and Audrey did a certain type of dance called the “boomba”. The “boomba” was when you did the wiggles. Bob wanted to change all that and have the gorillas do a different type of dance. A few weeks later Bob started doing some choreography and randomly started hitting his chest. The next day Audrey came along. “Hi ,Bob! Let’s do the “boomba!“ Then Bob started to hit his chest instead of doing the “boomba.” “Wow, nice moves! How do you do it?” “You just hit your chest.” From that day forward gorillas hit their chest instead of doing the “boomba.”</p><p>Mackenzie Rothmier 12/2/14</p>
