<p>POSITION/JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator</p><p>FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt / Hourly</p><p>AA/EEO CODE: 5</p><p>LOCATION: Scherer Window and Door Consultants Hopkins </p><p>DEPARTMENT: SWDC </p><p>IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: General Manager, Barb Anderson</p><p>POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinate the installation of replacement windows by ensuring the right product, right installer, and right supplies arrive at the job site simultaneously. </p><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Monitor expected and actual receipt of window product to anticipate job scheduling  Prepare requisition list for each job including installation materials, trim, and all other needed supplies.  Analyze key job characteristics (such as size and complexity) to determine appropriate install crew to successfully complete each installation.  Maintain and maximize scheduling calendar to ensure highest overall installation productivity.  Schedule installation projects with homeowner, installation crew, and material delivery.  Quickly respond to on-site requests from installers for additional materials and arrange courier delivery.  Work to continually improve process to eliminate installation delays, missing product or missing supplies. </p><p>OTHER FUNCTIONS:  Approve installer change orders ensuring proper upcharges are included  Resolve invoice issues or discrepancies with administration personnel  Maintain inventory of common installation supplies  Coordinate semi-annual inventory KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Construction and building materials industry knowledge  Leadership Skills  Lean Management  Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, Word)  Excellent written, verbal, communication skills  Ability to troubleshoot and solve unique problems  Excellent time management skills  Strong organizational skills  Ability to handle a fast paced working environment  Alignment with the company’s core values and operating principles</p><p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Ability to work flexible and extended hours as needed  Occasional computer use requires hand and wrist dexterity </p><p>ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:  Majority of work occurs in an office setting  Occasional exposure to extreme outside temperatures  Occasional exposure to manufacturing/production areas (dust, loud noises)  Occasion local travel may be required</p><p>LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: Valid driver’s license preferred but not essential</p><p>JAZ 2/26/2016</p>
