Open Discussion – Questions, Comments, Concerns – Club Members a. Fall Ride discussion was held, dates are 9-15 October, information is being sent out regarding hotels and activities – Also see the Meetup site - all hotel info is there– if you plan on going make your reservations soon. b. Twisted/Three Sisters ride information was shared – there is a 4 day gap between the Sisters ride and the Fall ride this year. Hotel Information: Days Inn, 920 E Main St, Uvalde TX Phone: 830-278-4511. 15 rooms (10 doubles, 5 kings) are on hold under the club name, COMAL RIVER RIDERS CLUB. YOU MUST ASK FOR THE ROOM UNDER THIS NAME. Members are responsible for making their own reservations. The group rate is $74.99 +tax = $84.74 total. The block of rooms will be held till late September. Highly recommend making reservations early! You can always cancel 24 hours in advance if circumstances change. This is a great shake-down ride for those going on the club Fall Ride! c. Bruce Lovely opened discussion and brought to Club vote that the annual Club Mileage Award be renamed to Angie Buckmiller High Mileage Award, verbal agreement was obtained by all members present. d. Sharon Lovely asked the club to approve either a donation to the Go Fund Me site or Flowers for $100-150.00 for Angie Buckmiller - based on the family’s preference. Kim Cleveland to validate with family which they would prefer – verbal agreement was obtained by all members present up to $150.00. e. Mark Shaffer announced that he had accepted a job that would require him to relocate to South Carolina. He thanked the club for the hospitality and comradery and invited all to visit when he and his family settled. He stated he would stay in touch via the cyber world. Good Luck Superman! Thank you for being part of the CRRC family! We will miss you! f. Terry Blackwell shared his trip to Alaska with the club – made this writer put it on her bucket list!</p><p>8. Gift Card Drawing –25.00 gift card to Woods - Robyn Mathes a. Kat’s name was drawn by Cindy Bartlett congrats! (PS So good to have you at the meeting!)</p><p>9. Allen Brewer gave away a Harley Davidson to Rudy after his name was drawn – ok, a table top model, but still a Harley – thanks Allen!</p><p>10.
