<p> IFMA CONNECTICUT CHAPTER BOARD MEETING Minutes Tuesday – April 12, 2016, at 5:30 PM OFI, Newington, CT.</p><p>ROLL CALL: Jay Drew, Cliff Ashton, Dave Durfee, Mark Malcarne</p><p>SECRETARY’S REPORT: DD – Minutes of the March meeting - Approved</p><p>TREASURER’S REPORT: BW – As of 3/31/2016 - $14,411.57</p><p>MEMBERSHIP: JD/MM – MM reported that his committee of NS, Dana Meinke and Carolyn Stratton met to begin work on the Membership Directory and develop a plan to grow IFMA-CT. They will meet on the first Monday of the month. The E Board asked them to focus on welcoming new members and talking with Expiring and Dropped. KO to investigate other, more local, instructors he can co-teach with; there is membership interest, possible class in fall  Carolyn Stratton told MM that IFMA-CT is not a good candidate for social media because our members do not use it  Possible other Awards: FM of the Year? Associate Member of the Year? Other? See above  Succession Planning – JD – All Officers agreed to stay on the board for another term; we will hold an election over the summer. It was agreed that CA was willing to step up to President the following year and DD would run again as VP. BW agreed to remain Treasurer until he is in rotation for President. WV will have the option to move up to VP or remain Secretary. Committee Chairs will be offered the opportunity to fill the vacant Office. At large E Board members will be offered the opportunity to fill the vacant Chair. This will all happen before an appeal goes out to the membership.  IFMA-CT Lapel Pins – JD – Jay reported that he was contacted by a vendor offering to make Lapel Pins for the Chapter. It was decided to order 100 four color, soft enamel pins at $2.85 each.
